Independent Contractors
An Independent Contractor (or IC) is a travel agent that works for themselves but under an agency that acts as their host. The host agency would hold all the required state certifications and handle all the registrations with the different suppliers allowing the IC to focus on what they love the most, planning travel for their clients.
At Ember Sky Travel not only are we a host agency but we are actual travel agents, we aren't just taking care of the administration side of things we are working along side you. Because we are travel agents as well we know what matters and we pick and choose things to make your job easier. It also allows us to provide you with real support when you need it so you can be successful in your new career!
As an IC you get the freedom to set your own schedule, pick and choose your clients and run your business how you want it to run with us guiding you along the way providing you with the support you need when you need it!

Independent Travel Agent
With this you will be registered under Ember Sky Travel, allowing you to book travel with all of our suppliers and giving you access to all of our trainings and marketing materials! Commissions start at 75% but can be raised to 85% based on sales activity!
Paid Commission Rate:
75-85% Commission Rate
The $50 setup fee is part part of the administration costs of adding new ICs to all of our suppliers and consortium, it also helps weed out people who are not serious about becoming an independent travel agent. A copy of the contract can be obtained in advance by contacting us. You are not locked into any plan above and can change between plans. Already registered ICs do not need to pay the $50 setup fee when adding or upgrading to a plan, the $50 setup fee is only when registering for the first time.
